All Snowmobile Registrants will be required to provide valid registration and liability insurance for each sled which will be ridden in the Poker Run at the time of Registration. Failure to do so will eliminate you from participating in the Poker Run. This is a DCNR requirement which our club must comply with in order to hold the poker run.
Location: Philipsburg Rod & Gun Club inside the Black Moshannon State Park (Directions and parking information)
The Philipsburg Rod and Gun Club is less than a 1/2 mile from the Black Moshannon State Park Office. There is a snowmobile trail that runs behind the park office. There will be snowmobile access provided from this trail to the Philipsburg Rod and Gun Club for poker run registration. Please refer to the Black Moshannon Snowmobile Trail Map for the snowmobile trail behind the park office. Snowmobiles will only be permitted access to the Philipsburg Rod and Gun Club for the Poker Run. Please respect the Philpsburg Rod and Gun Club by not riding to their club on a snowmobile at any other time except the day of the Poker Run. Thank you.
Registration Time: 8am – 11am
All Snowmobile Registrants will be required to provide current registration and liability insurance of the sled which will be ridden in the Poker Run at the time of Registration.
Poker Run Time: 9am – 4pm
At this time there are 5 stops planned and there will be two bags at each stop. There will be a bag for the adults and a bag for the kids to pick from. Maps will be distributed when you register.
Snowmobile dealers will have sleds on display at the poker run. Some will also be selling clothing.
Snacks and Lunch will be available.
There will be no snowmobile trailer parking permitted at the Philipsburg Rod & Gun Club. If you are familiar with the area, parking will be available at Harpster’s, all forestry parking lots, and in the Black Moshannon State Park. There will be a designated snowmobile trail to get into the Rod & Gun Club off the Snowmobile Trail that runs between the Black Moshannon State Park and North Run Road.
